I wish to run a round-robin between three teams and hope that the following strategy will work. The hosts of the matches will not be playing.
Sit NS A and EW B at match 1 table 1, start the match and they play 8 boards, leave table 2 empty.
Sit NS B and EW C at match 2 table 1, start the match and they play 8 boards, leave table 2 empty.
Sit NS C and EW A at match 3 table 1, start the match and they play 8 boards, leave table 2 empty.
When they have finished the eight boards:
Substitute NS A into NS at match 3 table 2
Substitute EW C into EW at match 3 table 2
Substitute NS B into NS at match 1 table 2
Substitute EW A into EW at match 1 table 2
Substitute NS C into NS at match 2 table 2
Substitute EW B into EW at match 2 table 2
Using +private+ and +nokill+ will hopefully prevent people jumping in and the matches dying prematurely. I am a little unclear if the substitutions will work as the pairs may be tied to their original match, although if they have finished it seems like it should work.
Has anyone else tried this or any comments?
Cheers
Paul

If you can, you probably should test it out (4-board first half, 1-board second half, to test the timeout issues) with some willing guineapigs before running it for real.
