Can't find user

My father and I have followed each other on BBO for years, and I used to always see his results from the daylongs when I look at mine.
Yesterday I realized we can't see each other anymore, and this has been going on for months. I checked on his phone, and I don't show up in his followed users anymore. I tried to readd myself to his friends list, but when I search for my username on his phone, it doesn't find me. How can he re-follow me?
