I seriously start to think whether BBO is trying to ruin itself:

- Increasing the tournament fee substantially with no explanation (e.g. 4 board award tournament from 10c to 50c in a year);
- Inventing new BXP points that are unreadable and generally plainly confusing;
- The last one is the new tournament list. This list is completely unreadable, takes a lot of the space on the screen, filtering is silly, etc. etc. Could you please at least make an option for users to retain the old style list.

All the recent changes to the pricing, interface, points structure are putting me on the verge.

I'm very fond of messing around with spreadsheets so I found it quite a lot of fun.
Others might have a different view.

Sure, but the filters are senseless. For example I would like to filter out daily tournaments. There are many of them and they are always on the top. Maybe somebody can tell me how to filter them out. Also, if they went to the table format one would expect to be able to sort by each column.

Currently the filters are only inclusive, not exclusive. So you can select *only* daylong tournaments, but not *except* daylong tourneys.

This feature will improve over time as we learn what's needed.

It was finally inflicted on me.

I do not find the current filters much use, but am all in favour of filters (show me all free tournaments that actually allow my nickname to play with a $0.60 robot as partner, please).

The rest of the interface is frankly terrible.

The vertical space consumed by each tournament in the app is totally unacceptable.
On a PC it still consumes three lines (which could easily be reduced to two) per tournament, which translates to three tournaments visible at once, given that the lower half of the page is allocated to the (to me irrelevant) line "Substitutes" and a huge unused white space followed by a single line of "Chat" (still with the absurd default of "Lobby"). Dragging down to eliminate the white space enables a whopping five tournaments visible.

Please just restore the previous interface, at least until this one is really ready and has one line per tournament (other information can be conveyed by icons, colour schemes etc without all that text).

My immediate reaction to the new lists was that they were noticeably worse than the previous version, but I wanted to give them a fair tryout before commenting. Now that I have done that, I still think they're worse. The worst part is that you can't see the full name of a tournament before clicking on it. I like to play in the Daylong MP-1 tournament, and there's no way of telling which of the four Daylong MP tournaments is number 1 without clicking on them. Annoying.

And that's really just one of the flaws in the new lists. They're also visually unattractive and confusing.

It might be possible to make them better with some work, but personally I would prefer just going back to the old version.
