You could sell me any card, except trumps, ..., I would go with spades, and the specific
card is depend on your agreement.

It is not an argument, but given that you play MP, the field is likely to go with spades.

4/5 card major matters, and how light you raise, we play 5 card, and I would know, that
p cannot have a 4-7 fit raise, i.e. chances increase, that he will be short, ..., some one
can tell me, if this add. information (dis)favors a spade attack.

What matters is not 4 or 5 card majors but the style.

With 4/4m we open the minor, old fashioned Acol players open 1 so ours is only 4 if 4333 strong NT and can be assumed to be 5.

Ok, would this mean, that your p always raises with 3 spades? And that not doing so basically implies at most 2 spades?

Hearts are out. Spades are likely to be on my right. CK looks most likely choice from the minors, but a diamond could be right.
