If you play RKC 41-30, how do you then play Exclusion?
- also 41-30
- 30-41
- 0-1-2
Is one over one mostly asking for trump Q also?

I've just been having this same discussion with my partner, we play rkc1430 but responses to exclusion are 0/3 - 1 - 2.
The reason we use 0/3, 1, 2 is that we are at a very high level, 0 is a frequent answer, and it is better to not get past your trump suit, which is possible if 0 is your second step.
I have very little experience with exclusion so will be interested to hear other replies.

I play RKCB 1430 and Exclusion 0, 1, 2, 2+, 3
After the 0 or 1 answer there is room to ask for the queen with the next step that is not the trump suit.
After the 3 answer (that will never come anyway) you must look at the queen in your own hand or deserve to go down.
Kantar, in his book Roman KeyCard Blackwood, uses 1430 and 3014 responses to RKCB, in order to answer 5♣ as often as possible.
Exclusion 0, 1, 2, 2+, 3 is also in that book.

Only when you use 5♣ as exclusion for spades and hear a 5♦ response, there is room for asking for the queen.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Eg ♥ trump:
...5♣-5♦
5♠ : Can't this be asking for ♥Q to play 7?
