When my partner, after a double overcall, bids a suit. ex 1d.- dbl.- 1 sp.: He shows 5 spade. If i have an hand with 3 spade: have i to repeat spade or not?

he does not show 5 cards.

If you play rare agreements where it does show 5 cards, then you should bid 2 with 3 cards, and doing otherwise denies having more than 2.
